Hello, I'm Liv!
Probably not your typical product designer - and that largely thanks to where I started.
Before UX, I spent a few years in marketing, which means I naturally think beyond the interface. I'm curious about how the business works, why users behave the way they do, and how a product can create value for both. These days, you'll usually find me untangling complex workflows, simplifying messy requirements, and helping teams turn "Where do we even begin?" into something people can actually use.
Over the years, I've designed products across consulting, conversational AI, and fintech. Interestingly, I've realised I enjoy the products that most people would call "complicated." Give me fragmented systems, operational constraints, multiple stakeholders, and a long requirements document — I genuinely think that's where the fun begins.
Having lived in Taiwan, Singapore, the UK (and briefly Japan), I enjoy seeing problems from different perspectives. I don't believe there's ever one "right" solution, just better trade-offs depending on the people, context, and constraints.
Outside of work, I voluntarily "torture" myself with CrossFit, spend way too much time planning my next trip, ordering my never-changing KOI bubble tea and trying to convince my border collie, Merlie, that not every moving object needs to be herded.
